By accessing or using RecoverInvoice ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
RecoverInvoice is a business-to-business communication tool that connects to your QuickBooks Online account, identifies overdue invoices, generates AI-drafted follow-up emails, and sends those emails via your connected Gmail or Outlook account on your behalf. RecoverInvoice is a communication tool only. We do not collect payments, hold funds, or act as a payment processor between you and your clients. Payments from your clients go directly to you.
RecoverInvoice is an independent third-party application and is not developed, endorsed, or affiliated with Intuit Inc. Our integration with QuickBooks Online is built using Intuit's official developer APIs. Intuit and QuickBooks are registered trademarks of Intuit Inc. Use of the QuickBooks name is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by Intuit.
You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for legitimate business purposes. The Service is intended for businesses collecting payment on their own B2B invoices.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
RecoverInvoice connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's official OAuth API. By connecting your QuickBooks account, you authorize RecoverInvoice to read invoice and customer data for the purpose of generating follow-up communications. We do not modify your QuickBooks data. We access only the data necessary to provide the Service. Your QuickBooks credentials are never stored by RecoverInvoice — we use OAuth tokens issued by Intuit.
RecoverInvoice sends emails from your connected Gmail or Outlook account using OAuth authentication. You authorize RecoverInvoice to send emails on your behalf. The first email to any new client always requires your explicit approval before sending. Subsequent follow-ups in a sequence may auto-send after a review window if you have enabled assisted automation. You can disconnect your email account at any time from Settings.
RecoverInvoice charges a service fee of 7% of the value of invoices recovered through our Service. A recovery is attributed to RecoverInvoice when: (a) we sent at least one follow-up email for that invoice, (b) payment is received within 21 days of our last follow-up, and (c) payment was received after our follow-up was sent.
You will be notified via email when a recovery fee is pending. You have 72 hours to dispute the charge before your saved payment method is charged. Every charge includes a full audit trail. Service fees are charged to the payment method on file using Stripe.
If you believe a charge was applied in error, you may dispute it within the 72-hour window. Disputes are reviewed manually and resolved within 2 business days.
You agree to use the Service only for legitimate collection of your own business invoices. You may not use the Service to send unsolicited commercial email, harass or threaten individuals, collect debts on behalf of third parties, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
RecoverInvoice and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RecoverInvoice and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will result in payment of any specific invoice or any particular recovery rate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecoverInvoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, except where longer retention is required by law. Any outstanding service fees remain due upon termination. You may also revoke access to your QuickBooks, Gmail, or Outlook accounts at any time through your respective account settings for those services.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of Florida. Each party shall bear its own costs and fees.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
